About Us

George brings a wealth of over 45-years’ experience to Arrows in all aspects of civil construction. Leveraging his extensive site experience having worked as a Surveyor, Grader Operator, Foreman and Project Manager, George transitioned to senior management and pre-contracts roles working as a Construction Manager, Operations Manager, Estimator and Estimating Manager. Born and raised in Cairns, much of George’s early working life was spent in Far North Queensland before taking him to the Torres Strait, Townsville and then Brisbane. George is regarded as one of Queensland’s premier estimators in the mining civil space but plies his knowledge to all sectors.

James is a Civil Engineer and brings a passion for finance, business, IT and civil construction to Arrows. He has a foundation of site experience working on Defence, airport infrastructure, council, building & urban projects as well as a stint in the Middle East in TBM tunnelling. In his 12-year career in the industry, James has worked much of it in estimating, recently specialising in wind farms, BESSes, Defence and council tenders but considered highly versatile across all sectors. James’ meticulous eye for detail and technical knowledge enable him to produce high quality estimates consistent with robust staging & methodologies.

​Ryan brings extensive, hands-on civil construction experience to his role at Arrows, having worked across Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and New South Wales on projects from residential subdivisions through to large scale rail and mining infrastructure. With experience in pipelaying, site engineering and surveying, Ryan has recently spent time in supervisory roles on mine sites, where he developed strong operational insight to interpret complex project requirements. Today, he applies this field driven expertise to produce accurate quantity take offs and dependable cost assessments that support confident project planning and successful delivery.
